IRS leader ousted amid scandal

President Barack Obama vowed Wednesday to hold accountable those at the Internal Revenue Service involved in the targeting of conservative groups applying for federal tax-exempt status, beginning with the resignation of the agency's acting commissioner who was aware of the practice.

In a brief statement delivered to reporters in the East Room of the White House, the president announced that Treasury Secretary Jack Lew had requested - and accepted - the resignation of acting IRS Commissioner Steven T. Miller.

The president said the "misconduct" detailed in the IRS Inspector General's report released Tuesday over the singling out of conservative groups is "inexcusable."

Nixon was forced to resign or be impeached for less than Obama has done. Noone died when Nixon lied. Maybe you should read Nixon's impeachment files for this same thing and realize that's is minor league in comparison to Bengahzi and the AP scandal.

There is no scandal or cover up in bengahzi except the republicans cut and still do cut funding for over seas embassy defence. My ex works for the Dept of State and has been telling me about the decreased budget from congress. Fools get their explosive lies from Fox and demented right wing congress and senate members. As to the IRS, as far as that goes I would target hate groups like the Tea party, klan, skinheads and other groups bent on destroying this govt.

... A man walks into a bar and orders a beer. He sips it and sets it down a monkey swings across the bar and urinates in the pint.
The man asks the barman who owns the monkey.
The barman replies the piano player.
The man walks over to the piano player and says "Do you know your monkey just urinated in my beer?"
    The pianist replies
"No, but if you hum it I'll play it."
