I'd bet money that the man shouted, "Allahu Akbar," which means, "God is greater," not "God is great." There's a big difference in meaning and in intention. The phrase does not mean, "I'm OK, you're OK."

This shows that mankind is evil in nature and doubtful in spirit, when a man puts up a wall, his intentions are not from god.

Uh, this is not a wall put up by Israel to keep anyone away. This is the last remnant of an ancient synagogue, the holiest place in Judaism. The synagogue was destroyed by Muslim invaders. By international agreement, the Israelis can't reclaim the land and rebuild because the Muslims also claim it. They are left with having to pray outside the wall.

    And this is news?
the news today is " Israeli forces systematically torture Palestinian kids" UN.
But then perhaps this is again no news. Firstly this not a revelation and second they are Palestinian kids and we are therefore not bothered.

strange the ways of the world folks.
We rush into aiding and abetting 'rebels' everywhere in the name of love of humanity, freedom, liberty & such and brimming with love for our Arab 'brethren' even send in our forces to fight the oppressors, but let misery , oppression & genocide reign in places which our eyes are somehow unable to recognize.

We should just let palestine kill as many Israelis as they can. This would make for a peaceful solution in some eyes. How about this? Hey, Palestine, stop attacking first and there would BE no need for retaliation. Saywhat would have Israel punished for having a better defense.

Its not a matter of allowing one side to kill the other. We should find a just & lasting solution to this conflict which majority of peace loving Jews want.

I think Jerome's point is (and I've said the same thing previously) if the Palestinians are losing that badly they should make peace. It is not up to Israel to scale back their response to even out the numbers.

Sure the onus is on a defenseless people who are under occupation, their rights and land usurped increasingly while the peace loving (lol) extremist regimes of the likes of Netanyahu and his coterie of war mongers keep the world hostage riding piggy back on US (that is us). I don't know whether to be dismayed or be amused at perceptions exhibited.
