Edward Snowden leaves Hong Kong

The global cat-and-mouse hunt for Edward Snowden took a drastic turn Sunday when the man wanted on U.S. espionage charges left Hong Kong and was flying over Russian airspace.
And he left with the help of WikiLeaks, who assisted with Snowden's "political asylum in a democratic country, travel papers (and) safe exit from Hong Kong." the group said on Twitter.

The "Greatest Nation On Earth" was earned with this nation always standing up for the values which reflected true spirit of what our Founding Fathers envisioned for this nation & country.
When we stopped caring and let those guiding our destiny play with it for self service, special interest and foreign lobbies. Disregarded or forgot what we were warned of by those who charted Declaration of Independence & Bill of Rights. Forgot that the true American spirit was embodied in Freedom,Liberty, Justice for all and pursuit of happiness for all, we forfeited the right to that claim.

@ chrissy, your anger is coming thru loud and clear 🙂 . I think this phrase I came across sums it up pretty well. "The system isn't broken, it was built this way."

The past 11 yrs@chrissy saw us deviating from our obligations as the greatest nation & just misusing and abusing that status and that is what is would be coming to haunt us for a long time.
Hope & pray that we wake up.

Yea i know. Its just so frustrating that we keep allowing these same clowns year after year after year get us deeper and deeper in debt. And even more frustrating is that we just accept it and dont force them to do the jobs they were elected to do! Meanwhile they continue to get kickbacks and whatever other compensation they recieve from their corporate backers! Makes it appear that we condone this behavior!
