U.S. urges Russia to expel Snowden

Washington is urging Moscow to send Edward Snowden back to the United States instead of letting him fly to Ecuador for asylum.

"We expect the Russian government to look at all options available to expel Mr. Snowden back to the U.S. to face justice for the crimes with which he is charged," U.S. National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said early Monday.

    Whats really astonishing to me is that people cant or wont remember how this country got in the mess we are in. But are happy as hell to blame it on one man who is trying to get us out of it! And it looks as though hes on that particular path alone, because the very people he should be able to count on for help are useless! CONgress! The direct opposite of PROgress!

    @chrissy
    i saw just one post from @Mary where she referred to defunding youth programs referencing God.
    @Ancient Texan
    Can't help but repeat myself perhaps to the point of of a 'broken record' and also perhaps as @chrissy pointed out in futility.
    From 9/11 to Iraq & Afghan disasters, legacy of corruption & torture, Haliburton,Carlyle Group, Blackwater, Abu Ghraib, trillions wasted, trillions missing from DOD the crimes of Bush-Cheney era willl continue haunting this nation & country for decades no matter who occupies the White House.

    President Obam's mistake to let the failed policy of interventionism & militarism and a disastrous foreign policy continue under the oppressive obstacles and tactics of the neocon dominated majority in the Congress.
    We are stuck in that nightmarish scenario where we lost all credibility, prestige and moral influence we once commanded.

    I have no hopes that under this Congress this nation would reemerge as it was when we were pushed down from that pedestal by our own leaders and the agenda they pursued.
