Discord, details flow after Zimmerman trial

The George Zimmerman murder trial is over, but details from the case continue to emerge at a dizzying pace.

Several jurors have spoken out after the verdict. The prosecution's key witness has been offered a full ride to college. And Attorney General Eric Holder blasted "stand your ground" laws but gave no hint about whether Zimmerman will face civil rights charges.

Here's the latest on the Zimmerman trial aftermath:

If I, as an old white man, walk into an apartment building on Park Avenue, wearing a suit and tie, a doorman will ask where I am going and call my host to be sure that I have a reason to be there. That is not insulting to me, and it does not display any kind of bias against me.

Lol @ Pete, good morning to you also! It is interesting how quickly people forget their own teenage years also isnt it? Teenagers ARE obnoxious but last i knew that doesnt mean they deserve to be shot! As for the prosecuting attorney on this case, he did a crappy job! I have to wonder if it wasnt intentional because the information that Ancient Texan spoke of sure would've made a juror with any common sense know that George's statement was false!

The prosecution did the best they could with the evidence. It's sad that a young life was ended but, that in itself doesn't justify charging someone that did not break any laws.

The Duchess of Cambridge is now in a London hospital to give birth. How very fortunate the British are in having a monarchy and a peerage to serve as models of behaviour for citizens!

Lmao @ Pete, good morning to you also. You're a hard learner huh? Divorced TWICE?? Lmfao i learned after one time that i wasnt meant to be someone elses property. And my sympathy about your son and i can honestly say i know what you're going thru. My only son became severely mentally impaired at 6 months old from his booster shots. I also can state, careing for him has been the most rewarding thing in my life! Kudos to you my friend!

@ Josh. And good morning to you as well. The thing is, TM was NOT shot because he was the neighborhood thief. He was shot simply because GZ ASSUMED he was the neighborhood thief! Which also, btw, is not a good reason to shoot a CHILD!

He was shot because he attacked a man that was carrying a gun. They both where in their legal rights to be where they were.

Oh @ Josh, i forgot to hit on the one point you made. Self defense? Puhleeeeezzz! Im sure you read Ancient Texans post, so upon reading that and the facts in contained, there really is very little, if any, evidence supporting GZ claim. Add to that he also had at least a good 50 pounds on TM.

You can slice it and dice it however you want, but in the end you know what he did was wrong. And the only thing more wrong was the fact that he got away with it! And you would definitely be singin a very different tune if it were reversed and TM shot and killed GZ!

Not a word if gz attacked tm first and tm was permitted for carrying the weapon.

Lol the best job they could huh? And a KNOWN killer is free! There was NO proof presented backing GZ claims of being attacked. And he was already a known liar! And as Ancient Texan already stated, no DNA on TMs hands nor abrasions.

What–Zimmerman again? How dare he help folks out of an overturned SUV! He's supposed to be in prison for life, where Sgarpton wants him. Why didn't Zimmerman wait for the police to get there?

Maybe the police are to busy eating donuts at Tastee to do their job. After all Trayvon should be serving a mandatory 5 year hard labor sentence at a federal prison for possessing controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school. That's federal law. He should also be doing time for stolen jewelry. Obviously the police for some reason can't do their job.

JIF, you should be writing for Leno or Letterman. I'm hyperventilating here.

"Why didn't he wait for the police."

and chrissy, I clicked reply to the wrong post, but you get the idea.

One day, shortly after the birth of their new baby, the mother had to go out to do some errands, so the proud father stayed home to watch his wonderful new son.

Soon after the mother left, the baby started to cry. The father did everything he could think of, but the baby just wouldn't stop crying. Finally, the dad got so worried he decided to take the infant to the doctor.

After the doctor listened to all the father had done to get the baby to stop crying, the doctor began to examine the baby's ears, chest and then down to the diaper area. When he opened the diaper, he found was
    indeed full.

"Here's the problem," the doctor explained. "He just needs to be changed."

The perplexed father remarked, "But the diaper package specifically says it's good for up to 10 pounds!"

When a woman discovered that she was pregnant, her four-year-old son overheard his parents' conversation.

He didn't say anything until a week later when a family friend asked him if he was excited about the prospect of a new brother or sister.

"Yes," said the boy, "and I know what we're going to name it. If it's a girl, we're going to call her Emily, and if it's another boy we're going to call it Quits."

Thanks to the miracle of fertility treatment, a woman was able to have a baby at 70. When she was discharged from hospital, her relatives came to visit.

"Can we see the baby?" they asked.

"Not yet," said the 70-year-old mother.

Fifteen minutes later, they asked again. "Can we see the baby?"

    "Not yet," said the mother.

Another quarter of an hour later, they asked again: "Can we see the baby?"

    "Not yet," answered the mother.

The relatives were growing impatient. "Well, when can we see the baby?"

    "When it cries."

"Why do we have to wait until the baby cries?"

"Because I forgot where I put it."

Two babies were sitting in their cribs when one called over to the other: "Are you a little girl or a little boy?"

"I don't know," replied the other baby giggling.

"What do you mean, you don't know?" asked the first.

"I mean I don't know how to tell the difference."

"Well, I do," said the first baby chuckling. "I'll climb into your crib and find out."

So he carefully manoeuvred himself into the other baby's crib, then quickly disappeared beneath the blanket. After a couple of minutes, he resurfaced with a big grin on his face. "You're a little girl and I'm a little boy," he said proudly.

"You're ever so clever," cooed the baby girl, "But how can you tell?"

"It's easy," replied the baby boy. "You've got pink booties and I've got blue ones."
