Five Indian soldiers were killed when their military post in the disputed territory of Kashmir was attacked late Monday night.
Even though the Indian defense ministry stopped short of saying the Pakistani army was behind the attack, the chief minister of Indian-administered Kashmir didn't mince words.
"These incidents don't help efforts to normalise or even improve relations with Pak & call in to question the Pak Govt's recent overtures," Omar Abdullah tweeted Tuesday morning.
For its part, Pakistan denied playing a part in the attack.
"No such incident has taken place," the military said.

I would have expected a response from Pakistan like "We had nothing to do with it." Instead, the response "No such incident has taken place." is very troubling.
I agree...the wording is very odd...and yet 5 men are dead.
I'm surprised at this news. These border incidents called 'skirmishes' between the two sides are common on India-Pak border but are rarely covered by CNN.
In Jan 2013 there were three reported in which soldiers from both sides were killed. Its also standard to deny involvement or deny the incident.
Now it is India's turn to get even with Pakistan .......
