Australian opposition leader Tony Abbott set social media abuzz on Monday with a memorable slip of the tongue.
"No one - however smart, however well-educated, however experienced - is the suppository of all wisdom," Abbott told a Liberal Party event in the city of Melbourne.

The 'gaffe' related to a very current and relevant issue, not some hypothetical situation. Politicians everywhere including here need to be in touch with issues & study them, that are a part of what is now going on. They don't have to be'suppository of all wisdom"
I just wonder what the fascination with Australia's "gaffes" is, when we have plenty of our own representatives spouting off the wall remarks.
