Clown mocks Obama at Missouri State Fair

A rodeo stunt at the Missouri State Fair has come under criticism after a clown donned a Barack Obama mask and stuck a broom up his backside.

The stunt took place during the bull riding competition on Saturday night.

Rodeo announcer Mark Ficken, president of the Missouri Cowboy Rodeo Association and a school superintendent, announced a special guest: "President Obama."

Working up the crowd, Ficken said, "We're going to stomp Obama now."

"As soon as this bull comes out, Obama, don't you move," he said. "He's going to getcha, getcha getcha, getcha."

Here we go again, somehow it will be seen as racist, yet when blacks say and do things like this, it's ok. Move on.

It may not be racist but it sure isn't fit behaviour for a School Superintendant! Is this how they educate children there?

Apparently they are not teaching the definition of Marxism in schools, either.

Oh, they teach it at my schools, and they also know that it's an overused, trite slur of the ignorant.

Mark Ficken has hired an attorney. He did not say the comments that everyone is reporting. Watch the video and listen and even you will find that the voices are different! AND if any of you people have ever attended a Rodeo you would know that this is normal. Their is always some sort of political satire. It has happened with all of our Presidents. There were GW Bush dummies, there were Nixon dummies, there were Clinton dummies....why since we have a black President is everyone so quick to yell racism?!!!!! AND KNOW that Mark Ficken is a very respected school superintendent and a family man. Your comments are unfounded and unfair. What happened to freedom of speech anyways? The fact that the clown has been banded from the MO State Fair is by far the most absurd thing I've ever heard of!! These men were not doing anything wrong. The state of Missouri is a Republican state....if you support likely need to have a little thicker skin living there! Get over yourselves!

The eastern lady who was all ready to take a horseback ride said to the cowboy, "Can you get me a nice gentle pony?" "Shore," said the cowboy. "What kind of a saddle do you want, English or western?" "What's the difference?" asked the lady. "The western saddle has a horn on it," said the cowboy. "If the traffic is so thick here in the mountains that I need a horn on my saddle, I don't believe I want to ride."

I support our President wholeheartedly and I consider him compassionate, moral and dedicated, but parody and satire are delivered under the heading of 'free speech' and should never be impeded.

Besides, our President is far more mature and open-minded than these asinine right wing clowns. He can take whatever these pathetic boobs dish out.

Personally, I'm going to be glad see President Obama leave office, but only because of the level of racism that has permeated the very fiber of our society. I know racism has always been a part of the make up as humans, but the level it has reached over the last five years is more than I have at one time and consistently in my entire life. It's really sad that our society has shown what they really are. But maybe once this particular president is out, maybe, just maybe, we'll all be able to get back more to the center.

Lol @ Nicole, after working with Congress, or should i say "not working with Congress" since what they do can't be classified work, i imagine the POTUS does have thicker skin. And if he didn't say those things then i apologise in advance, however, if he did it was inappropriate for a school superintendant!
