Syria opposition: Chemical agents kill 100s

Syrian opposition sources and witnesses reported several explosions and serious casualties in rebel strongholds in the Damascus countryside on Wednesday - and accused the government of using chemical agents.

The sources put the casualty count at "hundreds."

Videos posted online show lifeless bodies, most with no visible signs of injury. Many of the injured appeared to be convulsing.

    Probably not much doubt about the use of the chemicals. The big question is who actually used them. May have been the government, but al Qeada, if they feel they can garner the support. would do it in a heartbeat against their own people. So it stands like I originally said, US, stay the hell out of this.

    Good morning all.
    Whenever UN was entrusted with investigating the chemical weapons use, they pointed a finger at the rebels. Let's see what transpires with this latest accusation by the 'rebels'.

    A man walks into the psychiatrist’s office with a zucchini up his nose, a cucu mber in his left ear, and a breadstick in his right ear. He says, “What is wrong with me?

    The psychiatrist replies, “You are not eating properly.”

      Why they permit trolls to post whatever trash they want about other people is beyond me. If CNN wonders why they're tanking, this would be one clue.

    Thank you, CNN, for truth.

    The notion that the rebels would inflict this on their own children is absurd. Blindness is one thing, but pure stupidity is quite another. WE are not the ones dying. Stop playing victim.

    @hope
    permit me to differ. The 'rebels' mostly are foreign fighters dominated by elements of AlQaeda who now claim that they have the strongest franchise in Syria.
    Their children are not on the ground.

    The UN failed to pass resolutions because of being blocked by Russia, China, and Syria. Same as it ever was.
