House delays Obamacare; shutdown looms

In a move that makes a government shutdown more likely, House Republicans approved a spending plan Sunday morning that would delay Obamacare for a year and repeal its tax on medical devices.

The temporary budget resolution now goes back to the Senate, where Democrats have consistently said any changes to President Barack Obama's signature healthcare law is a deal-killer.

On top of that, Obama has already issued a veto threat.

If Washington can't reach a deal, a government shutdown will begin at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

No point folks arguing with@Hamsta. The ills that he always lists began inflicting this nation only when Pr.Obam took over.

Lol yea @ mama, odd isn't it. And then we have the biggest welfare fraud recipients of all! Congress! Free food, free vacations (many vacations) free transportation, free housing and most of all FREE MEDICAL! They don't care whether the rest of Americans can afford insurance or not, because they don't have too!

The politicking of the party of 'NO' and 'Obstructionism' has held this nation of ours hostage for the most part during Pr.Obama's admn.
The Congress as a body has failed the people it is supposed to serve.
Can't go into a detailed analysis as my post will not go thru.

Why bother researching something I already know, sounds like you need to do your research. You can start by realizing that education you THINK you recieved was just political indoctrination. Maybe YOU should go to a library and pick up a REAL history book instead of one of those watered down propoganda books Common Core uses today. As for my "inheritance", so far I have inherited property taxes that more than likely exceed your income tax but still have yet to recieve one dime of my share of the millions of dollars owed to us that greedy, corrupt democrats refuse to pay.

I guess you got it from osmosis, because it is not fact. I guess it came to you in a dream. Changing the subject from Obamacare? Education? Stay on task Hamsta. Not even your inheritance can distract me. I am not distracted by shiney objects that mean nothing to the conversation. Name calling again, but still no facts. Chirp.

I know we all keep saying we need Term Limits in Congress, but another thing would be to put an age cap on requirements also. I know none of us would like to think about our abilities or inabilities when we get old but its a known fact that our thinking process debilitates during old age. And if ever there were any doubts to that our present members of Congress should clear that up!

What I learned from Hamsta today, he is a republican, inherited land scholar and he pays personal property tax.

I would like to put a disclaimer on this last statement as all information has not been verified. Such as land owner, scholar or tax payer.

Oh and @ Hamsta, or rather hamsta wannabe, when you're trying to take on someones personna you should probably stick to only posting facts known of that person because outlandish claims are what will trip you up rather quickly!
