   Shuttered offices? Lost pay? After ObaMecare has done exactly that to millions of hard working Americans we are supposed to worry about a politician's shuttered office and lost pay? What comes around goes around.

   haa haa The republicans try to defund Obamacare 42 times and now they hold our government finances hostage, and blame it on the democrats because they even took it to the Supreme Court and lost? Republicans will pay with their seats in congress. Jon Boehner is not in charge of the republican House, the tea party is. Paul Rand is ranting their talking points of why it is the demacrats fault. After today it will be $200,000,000. if the republicans do not stop their temper tantrum. The only thing they are asking for is what will defund and put money in their pockets the Medical device tax, Hamsta do you manufacture, produce or import medical devices? Not a thing like glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids and other medical devices used by the general public is affected. read Obamacare, it has been in place since 2010. And instead of the $716 loss it has generated that. republicans were wrong then and they are wrong now.

     Seventy percent of the people do not want obomba care because it is and will hit their wallets. FACT. I think republicans in congress will gain seats because of their stance against this mess.

     It was 46% of the people do not want it and of those 46% 12% of them said it did not go far enough, they wanted the single payer system.

     Obamacare is good for the people of the united states. President does not do what is popular, but what is good for the country. I often ask people like yourself why you do not like Obamacare, never do they have an answer, never. Because they have not read it, they never have a reason. I would say 7 out of 10 have not read it. And I have a problem with your numbers. 38% say they want it and 11% say Obamacare does not go far enough, they want a single pay system, that is 49%. Insurance companies are not railing against Obamacare because it will get them millions of more "customers" in the system. The only reason and remember the republicans want to get rid of medicare and medicaid and then the insurance companies would back the repubicans.

     The majority of people don't think it goes far enough: as in single payer. FACT.
     80-90% of the nation wants some sort of same gun control. Shout the Senate have held out for that? No. Because this wasn't the time for absolutely ridiculous demands on a law that has passed all three branches of the government. The TP needs to grow up.
     Yes, their for less government. Even to the point of NO government. Anarchists, all.

   They say most federal employee paychecks will be withheld. The very first checks that should be withheld are those of the congress and senate. But noooooo, that's not going to happen, even though 800,000 others will do without a paycheck until these children leaders we have decide to act like adults.

   The republican party at one time showed at least a semblance of cooperation and compromise, but since the teaparty terrorist organization entered their ranks, they have taken the congress and country hostage. It kind of puts me in mind of the statement that our country would be destroyed from within. If this party ever gets complete control of our government, a dictatorship will follow.

   It is ridiculous that one small segment of a political part should be able to yield so much power over the majority of it's members. The teaparty has done this through coercion in the form of threats about the possibility of the other members losing their seats. I find it strange that the majority would let itself be bullied by a handful of disrupters like this.

    And thank you President Obama for your executive order ensuring our warriors will continue to be paid. The first paychecks affected by this should be those of all congress and senate members. It's just wrong that since they caused this, they should go unfazed while the lives of 800,000 others are affected.

    I don't think I am being blocked bobcat(iah). Hamsta- The republicans as usual are trying to defund Obamacare with only the medical device tax, which does not tax the public but the manufacturers, producers and importing of the devices. Only a 2.3% tax. They are not fighting for the american people but the bottom line of theirs.
    As far as this republican from Wisconsin, he needs to go. Obamacare is law, they have tried to defund it 42 times and took it to the Supreme court, they lost, move on. We were paying for the uninsured, emergency room visits, and underinsured anyway. Now they pay in if possible. When they do not the taxes on devices do. On tanning visits of $40.00, you pay an extra $ .92 cents. big deal.

    The preventive care alone, finding diseases such as cancer in early stage alone will save lives and save money. Preventive care is already saving money. Preventive care such as colonoscopies will save money. Hamsta have you had yours?

    The site is crashing, I assume it is the republicans seeing how much money they can save. lol I went on days ago, with just my husband and myself we are paying over $5,120. per year with my husbands work, just for fun I put in 3 adults in the silver for Obamacare, it was $4,700, it is cheaper for 3 adults on Obamacare than 2 on the regular insurance.

      @Hamsta – pull yours Walmart in 2004 when I worked for them would only give workers 30 hours so they did not have to give them benefits, nothing new. This newest tactic is a war on the american public to save the bottom yacht line. The wealthy are coming at us to break us down. Your friends in congress are only worried about the device tax, not the american people. The threat is people like you who wish not to pay any taxes.
