'God particle' scientists win physics Nobel

The Higgs boson, or the "God particle," which was discovered last year, garnered two physicists the Nobel Prize in physics on Tuesday, but it didn't go to the scientists who detected it.

Nearly 50 years ago, Francois Englert of Belgium and Peter Higgs of the United Kingdom had the foresight to predict that the particle existed.

Now, the octogenarian pair share the Nobel Prize in physics in recognition of a theoretical brilliance that was vindicated by the particle's discovery last year.

    The discovery of Higgs Boson or “God Particle” is the biggest leap in Physics. It crowns the global scientific community’s most challenging and comprehensive quest for the subatomic particle rightly regarded as the key to the cosmic riddle. Scientists at CERN, Geneva, announced the discovery in first week of July2012 in the presence of a tearful Peter Higgs, the British Physicist after whom the particle is named. The Indian link to the world’s ambitious experiment was also significantly reflected in comments ahead of the announcement by CERN scientists. “India is like a historic father of the project,” said Paolo Giubellin, spokesperson of Geneva based European Organization for Nuclear Research. The word boson is derived from the surname of Satyendra Nath Bose, the renowned Indian physicist. Bosons belong to a family of particles. Satyendra Nath Bose(1894-1974), a contemporary of Albert Einstein, has done a path breaking work on quantum mechanics in the early 1920’s, using math to describe the behavioral pattern of the bosons

      (rollin-eyes)...oh pleeze...the endless cans of worms you open...crediting yourselves author of works you did not create: your arrogance and audacity! you don't believe in God...nor His principles...nor His laws...His proclaimations...you don't respect life nor dignity of the human person...but have the nerve and the gall to tamper, unravel, tear at the very fabric and threads of creation and its existence...it will never happened thanks to be to god...you diabolical mad scientists: cause of every pollution and poison...you oppose god...your opposition keeps you ignorant...and you will never be able to answer the question nor silenced the battle cry and truth of the angels:
