Conrad Murray's jail time ends
Dr. Conrad Murray was freed from jail early Monday after serving two years for causing Michael Jackson's death.
Murray's four-year sentence for the involuntary manslaughter conviction translated into just two years in jail because of California prison rules that give an additional day credit for each day served.
A jury concluded after a two-month trial in 2011 that Murray's negligence led to Jackson's death from an overdose of the surgical anesthetic propofol.

My truthful comment on responsibility in this death was rejected. Fans and family want to hear something else.
That MJ was responsible for his own death is not questioned. That Conrad Murray also helped to contribute to that is also not questioned. A physician's oath is "first, do no harm".
One is dead, and another paid for his crime. It's over.

The testimony presented during Murray's trial has flashed again in my mind. So many, many egregious acts of negligence and yet, he serves barely two years for taking the life of the most beloved man on the planet. Michael did take responsibility for his life. He trusted Dr. Murray to care for him and help him sleep. He helped him sleep, all right, he just wasn't able to make him wake up again. He was a doctor. He had a big responsibility to keep his hippocratic oath. He didn't. One life is gone while another lives on, hopefully in shame and remorse for the rest of his days.
Stop blocking me, CNN.
What he was given wasn't a sleep aid. They both acted stupidly.
He served two years, but MJ served no time for the atrocities he committed.

Joke time most definitely failed big time with his "jokes ?". But I believe his real goal was to display how sick of a puppy he is. In that endeavor, he totally succeeded.

Typcial California letting the non violent prisoners out early. Murphy should have been made to serve his entire sentence. They should clamp an ankle bracelet on him. Michael Jackson is dead, nothing more can be said about him.
I have to wonder about sentencing that lets every day served be rewarded with one day off the sentence for good behavior. Time for some truth in sentencing.
