'Highly sophisticated' drug tunnel found

Investigators have shut down a newly-completed, "highly sophisticated" drug tunnel running under the border between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said.

It hasn't been utilized," ICE spokeswoman Virginia Kice said late Wednesday. "We were able to shutter it before it was utilized to bring drugs into the interior."

The discovery was made by the San Diego Tunnel Task Force, which includes members of ICE, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the Drug Enforcement Administration. The investigation is ongoing, according to Kice.

Lol @ banasy, hear the chirping? Ya know what i find most ironic is how a certain party is having such a difficult time having a african american POTUS but have no problems having hispanic senators that are NOT even natural born citizens of the US!

@RUFFNUTT: Would the paid-off officials benefit financially from legalized pot? I think that's the question. Remember sheriffs and bootleggers? Which way is better for some?
