Whitey Bulger to face judge for sentencing

James "Whitey" Bulger, the convicted Boston mobster whose rise and fall was as convoluted as any Hollywood script, goes before a judge Wednesday with prosecutors calling for him to be locked away for life.

The 84-year-old Bulger was found guilty of racketeering, extortion and money laundering in August after a rancorous two-month trial, with a federal jury linking him to 11 killings. Federal prosecutors have urged District Judge Denise Casper to hand down a life sentence for the longtime fugitive, calling him one of the city's "most violent and despicable criminals."

On this day in the 49th year of the 20th century, a being was brought forth to spread sunshine upon this dim world.

I second bobcats post @ saywhat! Dear man, please keep being you, most of us appreciate your informative posts. And just consider the source on the negative tool el trollio! Hes jealous because he isn't half as knowledgable as you are on these topics! And because you are so honorable while he is the exact opposite!

I have been called names many a times especially on CNN world blog where those who have no feet to stand upon usually resort to abuse.

I have been called names often on blogs especially on CNN World and had to bear with abusive language by those who have no rational thoughts to express.
I have again after a brief respite been barred from that blog.

What a shame that cnn can ban an intelligent, respectful and honorable blogger such as @ saywhat yet cant seem to ban el trollio! Go figure! So he MUST work for them! Guess they are pretty lax on background checks of their employees!

I hate to see intense thinking squelched, even when I disagree with the direction of the mentation. @saywhat should never be silenced here. I know that he and I might debate the point at which help can become counterproductive in society, and what cognitive alterations would eliminate most need for help. However, @saywhat is a formidable and honorable person.

Lmao! But seriously dude. You don't need to comment badly on the POTUS. He is doing a absolute fantastic job of destroying his presidency all by himself. And the silence from the liberals on here is deafening. Just sit back and watch the show unfold. Popcorn anyone?

Maybe you guys will like this joke. Probably not. Tee Hee
A man dies and gets to heaven. He notices a bunch of clocks on the wall and asked Jesus what they are for. Jesus said the clocks kept track of peoples lies. Jesus pointed out mother Theresa's clock and said it had never moved once. Jesus pointed out President Lincolns clock and said as you can see it has only moved twice. The man asked to see Obama's clock. Jesus replied "I'am using his in my house for a ceiling fan"
