March a rare month in Newark, N.J. - not a single murder

Two weeks ago, Garry McCarthy, director of the Newark Police Department, was attending a monthly meeting in the city's South Ward when it dawned on him that already halfway through March, there had yet to be a recorded murder.

Art dealer pleads guilty to $120 million fraud

A former New York City art gallery owner pleaded guilty Thursday to 29 counts of grand larceny and defrauding clients of about $120 million, according to the New York District Attorney's Office.
